HOW MUCH IS IT TO SHOOT ON PRACTICE?
We run on a Pay-and-Play system, charging 39p per clay. Cartridges are available for sale in the clubhouse at various prices. You are welcome to bring your own cartridges as long as the meet ground regulations. To check what cartridges are allowed please visit our practice page.
CAN I BRING GUESTS?
As a licence holder, you can bring up to 5 non-licensed guests of whom you will be responsible for. Everyone on the ground must follow the same ground rules.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND A LESSON?
1hr lessons are suitable for up to 2 people, for 3 or 4 people you will need to book an additional 1hr slot. We offer groups booking also.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS?
We offer gift vouchers that can be purchased in our club house, as well as on our website under our voucher’s tab for collection or postage.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO VISIT/SHOOT ON THE GROUND?
We normally recommend the minimum age to start shooting is 10 years of age however If the junior can handle a gun safely, is wearing the safety equipment, are accompanied by an adult and behaving appropriately for a shooting setting, then they are more than welcome on the ground.
CAN I USE A SECTION 1 SEMI-AUTOMATIC?
We allow semi-automatic guns on the ground however they must be seen to be safe with a safety flag inserted and always pointing up or kept in a gun slip between stands. Additionally, only two cartridges must be loaded into the chamber at one time. 3 shots are not permitted.
DO I NEED TO BOOK FOR PRACTICE?
We offer a pre-booking service for practice sessions to ensure you will receive at least an hour of shooting. We have scheduled 1hr stops throughout the year when our sister venue is hosting a wedding.
Pre-booking ensures you do not arrive during one of these scheduled stops.
CAN I SHOOT WITHOUT A SHOTGUN CERTIFICATE?
Without shotgun certificate you can either:
Shoot as a guest with a friend who holds a shotgun certificate under their supervision and use of their gun. Or have a lesson with one of our instructors
DO YOU HIRE SHOTGUNS?
We do not offer hire guns for general ground practice. Use of a gun is included in the cost of lesson with our instructors.
